Mega MIS turned on their engines ahead of new season

Mega mis are the first AdmiralBet ABA League team to have started the preparations for the 2023/24 season.

At the first practice ahead of the new season, head coach Marko Barać has gathered the following players in the Mega Factory Hall: Nikola Đurišić, Petar Kovačević, Luka Paunović, Oleksandr Kobzystyi, Stefan Miljenović, Omercan Ilyasoglu, Nemanja Popović, Andrija Jelavić and Timotej Malovec, which have prior to the practice successfully undergone the medical examinations. Filip Jović, Bogoljub Marković and Andrej Mušicki are with the U18 Serbia National Team.

The current average age of the players on the team is 19.8 years of age, which means that Mega MIS will most likely once more be the youngest AdmiralBet ABA League team.

The Mega MIS coaching staff for the new season will be, besides head coach Marko Barać, composed of assistant coaches Miloš Mitrović, Branislav Božović and Dejan Perić, fitness coach Pavle Tasić, physios Vanja Radojević and Miloš Savić, team doctor dr. Uroš Stanković, as well as Team Manager Novica Veličković.

After the first practice in the new season, coach Marko Barać stated that the club has gathered an extremely young and interesting team, that guarantees an exciting and challenging season: “Since the end of the last season, we have eagerly waited for this day. We have gathered a young and interesting team, that guarantees an exciting and challenging season. There is plenty of work ahead of us and since today we are on a mission to plant the Mega culture on this team. Until we leave for Greece in the second week of August, we will be practicing in our Hall, where we have the best possible conditions for work.”

A detailed schedule of the test games of Mega MIS will be announced in the coming days, but it is already clear that the team will play two games against South California University in Mykonos on 9 and 11 August.
