It is very hard to tell what we can expect from this new Cibona team. Yet, if we take a look at their score in the preseason it seems that the Wolves will be quite a dangerous opponent for anyone in the league.

It is very hard to tell what we can expect from this new Cibona team. Yet, if we take a look at their score in the preseason it seems that the Wolves will be quite a dangerous opponent for anyone in the league.
Cibona have had some great performances in the previous season, like the one against Crvena zvezda Meridianbet when they beat the Belgrade powerhouse in Dražen Petrović Sports Hall. At the end, the Zagreb crew finihsed the season at the 11th place and they fulfilled the club's main goal to keep their top-tier status.
Can Cibona do more than that in the upcoming regional league campaign? No knows the answer to that question at this moment, especially because the Wolves have made some significant changes in their roster over the summer.
For the start, Cibona have new head coach as they appointed Jakša Vulić to lead the first team in the 2023/24 season. Vulić has previously coached numerous regional clubs including Hiron, Zagreb, Cedevita, Dubrava, Široki, Split, Helios Suns, Tajfun, Bosco and Zabok, while this will be his first time to coach Cibona.
Vulić will have 5 senior players from the last-season roster in his new team, including Krešimir Radovčić, Domagoj Vuković, Aleksandar Aranitović, Ivan Perasović and Ivan Majcunić, while the club has so far strengthen their ranks with 5 new players.
Jakov Mustapić (Cedevita Junior) has returned to the club after two seasons, Domagoj Proleta came from Circus Brussels, while the new starting point guard should be Alex Stein who arrived from Hubo Limburg United. Finally, Cibona also acquired two domestic 21-year-old players - Tomislav Buljan and Matej Bošnjak.
Also, we should mention that Cibona have some very talented junior players who spent the summer with the first team and some of them will definitely be part of the 2023/24 first team roster.
Cibona have won 5 out of their 6 prep games over the summer, which clearly shows that this team have quality and that this new group of players may make some real noise in the upcoming season.
