The reigning champions storm through Novo mesto

Game recap: Partizan Mozzart Bet scored a convincing win against Krka on the road in Round 2 of the 2023/24 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season.
Krka had a full house in their first home game of the season, however not even a great support from the local fans could help the famous “giant slayers” from Novo mesto to create another sensation.
Partizan Mozzart Bet were simply a much better team today in Leon Štukelj Sports Hall. The black-and-whites had a 23-point lead at the halftime, while they have almost managed to double that lead in the 2nd half, leaving their opponents far behind at the end of the match.
Key moments: Everything was over in the first half. The reigning champions won the opening quarter by 16:11, while then they increased the pace even more in the 2nd quarter which they won by 29:11.
The score at the halftime was therefore 45:22 for the black-and-whites and at that point it was quite clear that the visitors would take the precious win.
Man of the match: Aleksa Avramović was once again the engine of the black-and-white team. The energetic guard was Partizan Mozzart Bet top scorer today with 15 points, while he also made 6 rebounds for the overall index rating 20.
Can’t trick the stats: There is no point talking about any major stats differences when one team grab a 40-point margin win. Partizan Mozzart Bet was simply a lot better than Krka in this match and the visiting side seized a well-deserved win.
