In the last game of the Subotica Regular Season Tournament, GGD Šenčur have outgunned Kansai Helios Domžale in a local clash and grabbed their first win of the season.
This way, GGD Šenčur will be placed in the middle of the standings after 2 rounds, while the finalists of the previous season Helios Suns will continue the season near the bottom with a 0:2 score on their record after the first two tests in the 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 season.
GGD Šenčur did the majority of their job in the first quarter. They have been up by 3 points after the first quartera and by 10 at halftime (31:41). As it turned out, Kansai Helios simply lacked strength to fight back in the second half and GGD Šenčur were the ones to celebrate in the end.
