Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have suffered their 3rd consecutive defeat in the 2023/24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season as they lost the away match against Virtus Segafredo Bologna in Round 4.
The red-and-whites had many ups and downs in this match, while they were constantly chasing their opponent’s lead. Finally, right at the start of the last minute of the game, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have managed to reduce the gap to 4 points (74:78) and the Belgrade side had the ball possession.
However, after a time-out, Zvezda’s top scorer from tonight’s game Shabazz Napier made a big mistake while throwing an inbound pass, which resulted in easy two points for Virtus Segafredo Bologna – 74:80.
Napier gave some last hope to the red-and-white fans after scoring a 3-pointer in the following play – 77:80, but Virtus Segafredo Bologna made all of their free throws in the remaining time to stay in front until the end – 79:85.
