EC: Cedevita Olimpija defeated by Wolves Vilnius
Cedevita Olimpija keep waiting for their maiden BKT EuroCup win of the season, as they have suffered a Round 5 defeat at home in their Stožice Arena in Ljubljana by Wolves Vilnius.

Cedevita Olimpija have opened their BKT EuroCup season with five straight defeats and keep waiting for their first triumph on the European courts. In Round 5, they have been defeated by the Lithuanian side Wolves Vilnius.
The crucial one was the second quarter, in which the visiting team prevailed by 9 points (17:26) and thanks to their 4-point advantage already from the first quarter, they have been up by 13 points (35:48) by the big break. The Dragons did fight back in the second half, but failed to turn the game completely upside-down all until the very end, when the score was 78:86 in favour of the Vilnius squad.
For Cedevita Olimpija DJ Stewart, Amadou Sow, Karlo Matković & Klemen Prepelič led the way in scoring with 13 points on their records each.
On Wednesday, Budućnost VOLI will be facing JL Bourg on the road in France, in pursuit of their third win of the BKT EuroCup season.
