EC: Budućnost VOLI get the overtime win against Trento

Budućnost VOLI have gotten their third win of the 2023/24 BKT EuroCup season in overtime against Dolomiti Energia Trento. 

It was a close game throughout all 40 minutes including overtime, the Italians briefly held an 11-point lead early in the game but Budućnost VOLI managed to get back into the game following that. Despite the game being close, throughout the first three quarters, the visitors were the ones with the control of the lead, Budućnost VOLI made a key 11:2 run in the fourth quarter to take the lead heading into the final 4 minutes of regulation. It was a back-and-forth finish and 40 minutes was not enough to determine a winner. Budućnost VOLI had enough left in the tank in overtime to secure the win giving Andrej Žakelj his first win of the Budućnost VOLI bench. 

Yoan Makoundou had a monster game for Budućnost VOLI, he finished the night with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks. McKinley Wright IV had a great scoring performance dropping 22 points while dishing out 3 assists.

Cedevita Olimpija will take on the London Lions tomorrow night in London.
