Game recap: Borac Mozzart have made a huge step toward the Playoffs as they prevailed over their direct rivals for the Top 8 spots Split in this week’s NLB Match of the Round.

When you see the final score and a double-digit gap, you might think that this was a routine win for the home side, However, this game was a real thriller all the way until the final moments of the 4^th quarter. Borac Mozzart eventually prevailed as they made the key 9:0 run in the last two minutes to increase their lead from 84:83 to 93:83.

Borac Mozzart now have the overall score of 8-9, while Split are at 7-10.

Key moments: As we have previously mentioned, Borac Mozzart sealed their win in the final two minutes of the game by making that crucial 9:0 run. It all started with the big 3-pointer by Bojan Tomašević for 87:83, while a moment later the same player made a steal and then scored two more points from the free-throw line – 89:83.

The Čačak troops then successfully defended their basket two more times, while Aleksa Uskoković with a jumper and Danilo Tasić with a lay-up made the final score in this game – 93:83.

Man of the match: That would be Bojan Tomašević! Borac Mozzart forward put on his first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while his 5 consecutive points that came late in the 4th quarter pushed his team toward the big win.
