Crvena zvezda Meridianbet suffered a major blow in the race for the 2023/24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Play In/Playoffs spots as they lost the away game against last placed Alba Berlin.

The red-and-whites did not play a good game. Simple as that. The Belgrade team were down by 15 points already by halftime, while in the rest of the match they did not have enough strength to pull off a major comeback.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet did manage to reduce the gap to 5 points (85:80) and they had a chance to reduce the margin even more, however Javonte Smart missed an open 3-pointer with 30 seconds left on the game clock.

The only good news for Crvena zvezda Meridianbet after this tough defeat is that Nemanja Nedović has recovered from injury as he played in Berlin this evening.
