Game recap: Mega MIS has recorded their 12th win of the 2023/2024 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season after they beat Cibona at home on Monday night. 

In the first half these two teams were evenly matched, neither team could pull away and get a significant advantage by the halftime break with Mega MIS taking a narrow 2-point into the second half. Mega MIS took control of the game in the second half, they even held a 12-point lead late in the quarter but Cibona would manage to cut it down to 9 by the end of the third. Jakov Mustapić came into the final quarter firing, he hit 2 big threes to open the quarter and bring Cibona back within just 3. From that point on it was a back-and-forth game with a thrilling finish, Cibona put up a fight until the final seconds but Mega MIS managed to hold on and get the important win. 

Key moments: After Cibona came back into the game, they took a 4-point lead midway through the final quarter, forcing Marko Barać to call a timeout. Following the timeout Mega MIS went on a crucial 9:2 run to take the lead back into their hand, which they would hold on to following a series of free throws in the game's final minute. 

Man of the match: Andrija Jelavić was on top of his game tonight, he put up a stellar performance finishing the night with a double-double. He scored 12 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while being excellent on the defensive end with 4 steals and 4 blocks. A true all-around game from the Mega MIS youngster. 

Can't hide the stats: Mega MIS played to their strengths tonight, one of which is their ability to run the floor. Mega MIS scored 16 points fastbreak points tonight while Cibona scored just 3 in transition.
