Semi-finals begin – Partizan Mozzart Bet host Budućnost VOLI in Belgrade

Story of the game: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Semi-finals, Partizan Mozzart Bet will be hosting Budućnost VOLI in Round 1 game at home in their Belgrade Arena.
Opening games of the Playoff series are always extremely important and it will be no different this time, as Partizan Mozzart Bet and Budućnost VOLI will meet in the first game of the Semi-final series in Belgrade Arena.
The teams have had a couple of exciting encounters this season so far and both times Partizan Mozzart Bet emerged victorious, which is also what pawed them the way towards the second place in the standings, which they took in front of 3rd placed – Budućnost VOLI, that had only one win less in the regular season on their record.
The Playoffs however, are a brand new chapter and should Budućnost VOLI get away with a road win in Belgrade, it would boost not only their morale, but also the odds of reaching the Finals, big time.
On the way to the Semi-finals, both squads have swept their Quarter-final series against Igokea m:tel and Zadar, respectively.

Match-up in focus: Perhaps the most interesting match-up of the game is the one between Aleksa Avramović of Partizan Mozzart Bet and Yogi Ferrell of Budućnost VOLI. While Avramović has been the second-leading scorer of the black and white so far this season, averaging 10.3 points per game, his main contribution this time could be his defensive skills, that he could use to stop Ferrell, that has been leading the way for Budućnost VOLI in scoring (13.4 points per game), while also being the second-leading passer of the team (4.1 assists per game). The question is whether Aleksa can do it, or will Ferrell shine anyway, taking his team to the big win on the road in Belgrade Arena.
