Nikola Topić was the 12th pick at the 2024 NBA Draft

Nikola Topić was selected 12th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder at the NBA Draft in New York. The Crvena zvezda Meridianbet prospect was highly followed by NBA scouts as throughout the season he improved his draft stock landing a spot as a lottery pick. 

This season was an injury-filled season for young Nikola, despite those issues he managed to make a name for himself through the regional league. Topić started the season playing for Mega MIS where he started to gain attention from NBA scouts, later he moved back to Crvena zvezda Meridianbet where shortly after arriving he was sidelined due to injury. In 18 games this season, Topić averaged 15 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 6 assists per game and was named the AdmiralBet ABA League Top Prospect.
