SC Derby’s latest signing is a well-know face to all AdmiralBet ABA League fans as the club from Podgorica has once again joined forces with American point guard Erick Neal.
Neal played for SC Derby in the 2nd part of the 2021/22 season and was one of the team’s best players during that period. He averaged 13.9 points, 6.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game in the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League campaign.
After leaving SC Derby at the end of that season, he played for CSU Oradea and Frutti Extra Bursaspor in the past two years, while he will now rejoin the Students to lead the team in the 2024/25 regional league journey.

Erik Nil je ponovo Student
SC Derby je odlučio da na poziciji pleja ove sezone dovede jedno već poznato i provjereno ime - Erik Nil se vraća "na studije".
Momak koji je stigao tokom sezone 2021/2022 kao zamjena za fenomenalnog poentera Kajla Vinjalesa, se pokazao takođe kao rasni šuter.
Pamti se njegova partija protiv FMP-a kada je ubacio 21 poen, podijelio 13 asistencija i uhvatio šest skokova.
Da podsjetimo riječ je o momku rođenom u Dalasu, koji je visok 179 cm, ali malo niži rast nadoknađuje eksplozivnošću i šutem.
Za SC Derby je u prosjeku ubacivao 13,9 poena (42 odsto za tri poena), imao 6,8 asistencija i skoro tri skoka po meču.
Nakon SC Derby-a igrao je za rumunsku Oradeu, kao i za turski Bursaspor.
