Tayler Persons is the new Krka reinforcement
Tayler Persons, a 28-year-old and 191 cm tall American player has become a new member of Krka of Novo mesto.

“After having spoken with Dejan Jakara, it became clear to me, that Krka is the most suitable club for me to continue my career at. I am aware of the fact, that the club has a rich history. I am coming to Novo mesto to demonstrate my best possible performances, so that we could achieve as good results as possible. I am bringing passion and winning mentality to the team. I am also looking forward to meet Krka fans and supporters. I wish that we could all enjoy in the season ahead of us,” Tayler Persons told, as he signed the deal with the Novo mesto side. Persons usually plays best at the shooting guard position, as a player that can both assist and score.
Tayler Anthony Persons has been born on 31 August 1995 in Kokoma, Indiana. He successfully finished his high-school career and afterwards continued his path at the universities Northern Kentucky (2014-15) and Ball State (2016-19).
Persons has been the first player of the Ball State Cardinals, ending his college career with 1000 points and 400 assists.
In 2019 he arrived to Europe and signed with ZZ Leiden, moving later to S. Oliver Würzburg, GTK Gliwice, Szedeak, Elan Chalon and at last Twarde Pierniki Torun and MKS Dabrowa Gornicza in Poland.
He had an extraordinary last season in Polish National Championship, having become the top passer of the championship with 9.4 assists dished out per contest. He used to average 29.7 minutes per game, 16.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists. He has also been the top passer of the Netherlands National Championship in his first European season (8.1).

Novi član novomeške Krke je postal 28-letni in 191 centimetrov visoki ameriški košarkar Tayler Persons.

V minuli sezoni je Tayler navduševal v močnem poljskem državnem prvenstvu, kjer je bil z 9.4 podajo na tekmo prvi asistent lige. V povprečju je igral na tekmo po 29.7 minute, v tem času pa beležil še po 16.2 točki, 4.5 skoka in 1.7 pridobljene žoge. V svoji prvi sezoni, 2019/2020, v Evropi je bil tudi prvi podajalec nizozemske lige (8.1).
