In the opening round of the 2024/25 NLB ABA League 2 season, Kansai Helios have prevailed over Cedevita Junior on the road in Zagreb.

It has been a game, where Kansai Helios have been in front throughout the majority of the playing time, but never truly managed to pull away all until the end, so the game could have easily go either way. However, in the very finish of the match, the visiting side of Domžale managed to break the resistance of the Zagreb squad, being more focused in the key moments, and got away with a precious 79:87 road win, taking the top of the Group A after the Round 1, while Cedevita Junior will have to wait until the coming rounds to try and fight their way back into the race for the top of the group.
