Game recap: Krka recorded its first win of the season after beating Cibona on the road in Zagreb. 

Despite Cibona controlling the game for most of the match, Krka took advantage of key moments in the final quarter and turned the result in their favor. Cibona took control of the game in the early moments of the first quarter, they even held an 8-point lead but a few mistakes late in the quarter allowed Krka to cut the advantage to just 1. The second half was a back-and-forth contest, Filip Bundović hit a buzzer-beater before halftime to give Cibona their 1-point lead at halftime. In the second half, Cibona started to pull away in the third quarter, they held a 5-point lead heading into the final 10 minutes and it seemed that the momentum had shifted in their favor. Krka did not let them walk away with the lead and win, with a gritty performance in the end Krka managed to complete the comeback and secured their first win of the season. 

Key moments: It was a sluggish final quarter for both teams, many periods without points scored, but Krka managed to keep their cool and took control of the game late. Midway through the final quarter, Krka went on an 8:0 and took a big 6-point lead with 2:30 remaining. From that point on there was no return for Cibona, Krka was the better team in the finish and they added their first in the win column. 

Man of the Match: Miha Cerkvenik was absolutely phenomenal for Krka. He was the game's top scorer with 22 points on 8/11 shooting and 8 rebounds. 

Can't trick the stats: Both teams were pretty evenly matched tonight in every category, what stood out on the stat sheet was the assists, Krka had terrific ball movement tonight getting 21 assists.
