Story of the game: Mega MIS and Mornar-Barsko zlato are awaiting their Sunday’s duel in completely different position.
The Belgrade troops are one of just three teams who have the perfect record after the opening three rounds of the new season, while on the other side the Bar squad is the only winless team in the league at the moment.
Mega MIS is definitely the basketball topic number one in the region as the youngest team in the league have managed to win all of their opening three games. They firstly defeated Krka and FMP Soccerbet, while then, in the third round, they managed to stun league newcomers Dubai on the road to keep their winning streak going. Now, the Pink troops are hosting the last-placed team on the standings and it will be a nice chance for them to start the season with 4 consecutive wins.
Mornar-Barsko zlato did not start the season well, but considering all the circumstances, it was very hard to expect from the Bar troops to record any win in the opening three rounds. Firstly, they have a completely new team that started practicing together pretty late in the preseason, while secondly they had an extremely difficult schedule at the start of the 2024/25 campaign. Mornar-Barsko zlato have suffered defeats against regional powerhouses Budućnost VOLI, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet and Cedevita Olimpija in the first three rounds, while this week they are facing the last year’s semifinalists Mega MIS.
