EC: Both Cedevita Olimpija and Budućnost VOLI suffer defeats

Both Cedevita Olimpija and Budućnost VOLI suffered defeats in Round 6 of the 2024/25 BKT EuroCup regular season.

And they were both defeated by Israeli teams.

Cedevita Olimpija lost at home against Hapoel Jerusalem by 83:94. After the first quarter in which each side scored 19 points, the visitors absolutely dominated the court during the 2^nd and 3^rd quarters as during those 20 minutes Hapoel Jerusalem escaped to a 22-point lead – 77:55. In the last 10 minutes of the game, Cedevita Olimpija only managed to reduce the gap a bit, but they were never close of making some epic comeback.

Budućnost VOLI suffered defeat against Hapoel Tel Aviv on the road – 72:92 – in a pretty similar way as Cedevita Olimpija lost their today’s match.

Budućnost VOLI had a 5-point lead after the opening quarter – 22:17, but then Hapoel Tel Aviv took over the control over the game and they scored 47 points combined in the 2^nd and 3^rd quarters to completely change the things down on the court. At the end, the Israeli powerhouse seized a comfortable 20-point-margin victory.

Budućnost VOLI now have the overall score of 2-4 and they are just outside the Top 6 zone in Group A, while Cedevita are holding the 4^th place in Group B with the overall score of 4-2.
