U19 Cibona defeated U19 Podgorica Bemax and therefore seized the ticket for the 2024/25 U19 ABA League Semi-Finals.

The Zagreb team is the first one to qualify for the semi-finals stage. After that huge win against U19 Crvena zvezda in the opening round, the young Wolves prevailed over U19 Podgorica Bemax in the second round to keep the perfect score and seal the top spot in Group D.

Even if U19 Cibona lose the last round match against U19 Široki TT Kabeli, they will still have a better head-to-head score with either U19 Crvena zvezda or U19 Podgorica Bemax and they are therefore safe at the top spot of the group.

Josip Pavković was the one to lead U19 Cibona toward today’s win over U19 Podgorica Bemax as he put on a monster double-double performance with 25 points and 14 rebounds.

On the other side, U19 Podgorica Bemax player Marko Radunović was close to have a double-double performance as well as he finished the match with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
