EL: Partizan Mozzart Bet win the thriller vs. Alba Berlin to seize their 5th consecutive win in EuroLeague

Partizan Mozzart Bet scored a huge win in Germany as they defeated Alba Berlin on the road to continue their impressive winning run in the 2024/25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Recall that this is the 5^th consecutive win for Partizan Mozzart Bet in this competition!

It is hard to describe everything that happened in the 4^th quarter tonight. Partizan Mozzart Bet entered the final 10 minutes of the game with a comfortable double-digit lead – 74:64, however Alba Berlin pulled off an incredible 4^th quarter comeback as they took over the lead and entered the final minute of the game up by 4 points – 88:84.

Partizan Mozzart Bet then called for a time-out, while after that the Belgrade troops made a huge 5:0 run that put them back in front – 89:88. Vanja Marinković scored a 3-pointer for 87:88, while then Carlik Jones made both free throws for 89:88.

On the other side of the court, Alba Berlin center David McCormack got fouled and had two free throws that could have put the home team back in front, but McCormack made just 1 out of 2 free throws and therefore just tied the score – 89:89.

Partizan Mozzart Bet had 10 seconds to win this match and obviously they decided the give the ball to their top scorer tonight Carlik Jones to decide their fate. Jones pulled up for a 2-point jumper, with just 1.7 seconds before the end of the match, and he made the shot – 91:89!

However, that was not the end of tonight’s drama as after a time-out, Alba Berlin made an inbound pass from halfcourt, while again David McCormack got fouled while catching the ball under Partizan Mozzart Bet basket.

McCormack this time had a chance to tie the score and take the game into overtime, but once again he made just 1 out of 2 free throws and Partizan Mozzart Bet finally triumphed in Berlin – 91:90.
