Story of the game: For the 2nd game of the Saturday's schedule we go to Belgrade where FMP Soccerbet will host Budućnost VOLI.
FMP Soccerbet are coming out of a turbulent 10-day period in which many major things happened for this club. The Panthers firstly finished their 2024/25 FIBA basketball Champions League campaign as they failed to reach the next stage, then they suffered defeat against Igokea m:tel on the road in the previous round of the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League season, while finally the team roster went through some big changes during the week as Matic Rebec and Danilo Tasić left the club, while NLB ABA League 2 sensation Joshua Scott arrived to strengthen the squad.
FMP Soccerbet can now fully focus on their race for the Playoffs in the AdmiralBet ABA League, while right now they are sitting right at the border of the Top 8 zone with the overall score of 7-6.
On the other side, Budućnost VOLI can brag that they are one of the league leaders as before this round they were sharing the top spot on the standings with Partizan Mozzart Bet and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, with all three of them having the overall score of 11-2.
The Podgorica side are on a 4-game winning streak in the league and they now want to extend that run in Belgrade in order to keep pushing forward in the race for the 1st place.
Match-up in focus: FMP Soccerbet lost their top scorer of the season Matic Rebec, but they got a player who scored 53 points in his last game in the NLB ABA League 2. Joshua Scott is a fantastic scorer and he is ready to prove himself at the big stage, so we are all eagerly anticipating his debut in the AdmiralBet ABA League.
Meanwhile, Budućnost VOLI have Rasheed Sulaimon who scored 42 points combined in the last two games. Sulaimon is playing in exceptional form and the Podgorica troops need his points in the upcoming match in Belgrade.
