Game recap: Krka ended their 5-game losing streak as they beat Mega Superbet on the road in Round 16 of the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season.

We wrote in the game-preview that Krka have always been a very tough opponent for Mega Superbet and that their current position on the standings and current team form might mean nothing ahead of the Sunday’s clash.

And, Krka have once again found a way to stun their Belgrade rivals. The boys from Novo mesto have played probably their best game of the season as they scored 94 points on the road to beat one of the teams who are fighting for the Playoffs.

Krka have therefore scored their 4^th win in the season and they have improved their overall score to 4-12. On the other side, Mega Superbet suffered major setback in their race for the Playoffs, while their current overall score is 8-8.

Key moments: Krka showed already at the start of the match that his will be their day as they scored 28 points in the opening quarter and gained an early double-digit lead – 28:16.

The visitors had some tough moments in the 2^nd quarter in which Mega Superbet managed to reduce the gap to just 2 points, but Krka turned on their engines again right before the halftime to increase their lead to 9 points ahead of the big break – 49:40.

The 3^rd quarter was probably the key period in this game as in those 10 minutes Krka made some very tough 3-point shots that pushed them toward a 15-point lead – 75:60.

In the final 10 minutes of the game, Krka were comfortably keeping their lead and they eventually seized a well-deserved win.

Man of the match: Miha Cerkvenik was the one who scored some very tough 3-pointers in the 3^rd quarter that paved the path toward the win for Krka. Cerkvenik was the team’s top scorer today with 20 points, while he also had the highest index rating in the winning team – 24.

Can’t trick the stats: While Krka scored 11 three-pointers in this match, Mega Superbet made just 6 shots from behind the arc. And, we have already said how important were some of the 3-pointers that Krka scored today, especially in the 3^rd quarter.
