Both AdmiralBet ABA League teams have qualified for the 2024/25 BKT EuroCup Eight-Finals!
Cedevita Olimpija have secured their eight-finals spot already last week, so their today’s defeat against Hamburg did not mean much. The Dragons scored just 26 points in the 2nd half against the German side and they suffered an 18-point defeat in the last round of the 2024/25 BKT EuroCup regular season – 62:80.
Cedevita Olimpija have therefore finished the regular season with the overall score of 10-8 and they seized the 4th spot in Group B.
Meanwhile, Budućnost VOLI had to wait for the other results in Group A to start celebrating their qualification to the eight-finals as the Podgorica side lost the away game against Wolves – 82:91. Luckily for the blue-and-whites, ratiopharm Ulm lost their home game against Hapoel Tel Aviv and Budućnost VOLI therefore seized the 6th place in Group A that brought them the last remaining ticket for the eight-finals.
In the 2024/25 BKT EuroCup Eight-Finals, Cedevita Olimpija will host Besiktas Istanbul in the single-game elimination format, while Budućnost VOLI will face Turk Telekom on the road.
