EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers: BiH beat Cyprus and qualified for the EuroBasket Tournament, victories also for Serbia and Slovenia

In Friday’s EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers encounters, BiH, Serbia and Slovenia have celebrated victories, against Cyprus, Finland and Ukraine, respectively. On the other hand, Croatia and North Macedonia have been defeated by France and Estonia. Bosnia and Herzegovina have secured themselves a spot at the EuroBasket Tournament.

Serbia keep reigning atop of the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers Group G, as they have triumphed on the road in Finland in Round 5 of the Qualifiers with the final score of 95:105, after a close encounter, where they performed a comeback after being behind by 6 points after 20 minutes of play. In the end, Filip Petrušev was the top scorer of Serbia with 34 points scored, while Aleksa Avramović added 21.

Slovenia remain atop of the Group A, as they have prevailed over Ukraine on the road in Arena Riga with the final score of 71:84, after they have been in command of the game throughout the playing tie. For Slovenia, Gregor Hrovat scored 22 points, while Žiga Daneu added 13.

BiH have rolled over Cyprus in Mejdan Sports Hall in Tuzla in a game, where they have been dominating the court all game long and, having in mind also the defeat of Croatia against France, they secured themselves the EuroBasket ticket. They have emerged victorious in the end with the final score of 108:62. For Bosnia and Herzegovina, Džanan Musa was atop of the list of scorers with 31 points scored. Kenan Kamenjaš added 21 points this time around.

Croatia hosted France at home in their Jazine Sports Hall in Zadar and in a close game, that could have gone either way, the French side, that is still undefeated in the Qualifiers, have prevailed over the hosts with the final score of 80:83. For Croatian side, Mario Hezonja shined with 37 points on his record. Luka Šamanić added 13 points.

On the road in Estonia, North Macedonia have suffered their fourth defeat of the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers. In a game, where the hosts have dominated the court in the second half, they have grabbed an 84:65 win in the end. For North Macedonia side, TJ Shorts scored 21 points and Nenad Dimitrijević 20.
