„The World is Brighter in Colorful Socks“ – AdmiralBet and ABA League together with the persons with Down Syndrome

The great humanitarian action during the Round 24 of the AdmiralBet ABA League takes place as a sign of support and strengthening of society.

ABA League, in cooperation with its renowned general sponsor AdmiralBet, once more confirms its devotion to the social responsible business. This weekend (21 – 24 March), during the Round 24 of the AdmiralBet ABA League, a great humanitarian campaign will be organized to honour the World Down Syndrome Day (21 March), under the symbolic slogan “The World is Brighter in Colorful Socks”.

In five of eight games of the Round 24 of the AdmiralBet ABA League, the representatives of the organizations that gather people with the down syndrome, while the special message will be sent directly from the court – all players will be playing in colourful socks, the universal symbol of support and inclusion.

Besides the powerful symbolics, AdmiralBet will give the action a concrete value – the company will donate 8.5 € for every scored point in all games of the Round 24 of the AdmiralBet ABA League to the organizations of persons with the down syndrome. This way, every point will at the same time become a step towards improving the lives of those, that meet the challenges, but also the never-ending optimism and strength, in each and every day of their lives.

We believe that sports has the power to change the World and this way we wish to send a strong message – that diversity needs to be accepted, supported and celebrated. Every point, every applause, every smile from the stands – all of this sends a message that we are all here for each other. We are proud to lead this action and we are grateful to be able to make the difference together with the clubs and the fans,” AdmiralBet CEO Marko Ribarić told.
