Petrušev, Kamenjaš, Wright, Jones and Brown form the Ideal Starting Five
Head coaches of ABA League teams, journalists and the fans have selected the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League Ideal Starting Five, composed by Filip Petrušev, Kenan Kamenjaš, McKinley Wright, Bryce Jones and Sterling Brown.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet star player Filip Petrušev is the player that received the highest % of combined votes of the head coaches, journalists and fans in the voting for the Ideal Starting Five of the 2024/25 season. He won the total of 15.5% votes and is followed by Kenan Kamenjaš of Budućnost VOLI (15.2%), McKinley Wright of Budućnost VOLI (11%), Bryce Jones of Igokea m:tel (10.8%) and Sterling Brown of Partizan Mozzart Bet (7.9%).
Carlik Jones of Partizan Mozzart Bet (6.3%), Devin Robinson of Cedevita Olimpija (5.8%), Nikola Kalinić of Crvena zvezda Meridianbet (5.4%), Awudu Abass of Dubai Basketball (4.2%) and Klemen Prepelič of Dubai Basketball (3.5%) are the ones that follow them.
In the voting of head coaches of AdmiralBet ABA League teams, Filip Petrušev received the highest number of votes, ahead of Kenan Kamenjaš and McKinley Wright and Bryce Jones. In the voting of journalists of the AdmiralBet ABA League countries, Kenan Kamenjaš led the way ahead of Filip Petrušev and McKinley Wright, while in the voting of the AdmiralBet ABA League fans, Kenan Kamenjaš was ahead of McKinley Wright and Carlik Jones.
Filip Petrušev – Filip Petrušev is a well-known name when it comes to the AdmiralBet ABA League. Voted the Top Prospect and MVP of the Regular Season before in 2020/21 season, this is his second episode with Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, after he also played for Mega Superbet in the 2020/21 season. As he signed with the red and white of Belgrade in the first half of this season everyone expected him to be a major boost for the reigning champions and it turned out to be just that way. He has been averaging 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and a valuation of 17.6 per game this season and helped Zvezda reach a Top 4 position after the Regular Season.
Kenan Kamenjaš – Without the big man, only few can imagine how Budućnost VOLI would look like this season. He has been an integral part of the puzzle, composed by head coach Andrej Žakelj, on the way to the first place on the regular season, as he has been averaging 12.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a valuation of 19.1 and has for sure been one of the top players in the competition this season.
McKinley Wright – The 2024/25 season is the second for Wright in the ranks of Budućnost VOLI and a true breakthrough season as well, as he even earned himself the MVP of the Regular Season award. He led his team to the first place in the Regular Season by averaging 12.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1 steal and a valuation of 16, which was enough to convince the voters that he is worthy of the Dejan Milojević trophy for the 2024/25 season.
Bryce Jones – The 183 cm tall point guard of Laktaši squad has been a key player of Igokea m:tel all season long, ever since he joined the squad in the summer and has been leading the competition in terms of scoring in the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season with 18.4 points scored per game, which is more than any other player in the competition at the end of the 2023/24 Regular Season, while adding 5.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals and a valuation of 21.5 to his stats on average.
Sterling Brown – Sterling Brown has joined Partizan Mozzart Bet last summer as a major reinforcement and for sure, he has warranted the trust of head coach Željko Obradović and the whole black and white community. Appearing in 28 games this season, he has been averaging 10.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, just as many assists and a valuation of 10.9, contributing vastly to the team’s success as the black and white took the second place in the Regular Season.
