Story of the game: In the opening game of the Semifinal series, Budućnost VOLI will be hosting Crvena zvezda Meridianbet at home in their Morača Sports Hall in Podgorica.

Two old rivals, that have met so many times in the trophy series over the past decade, meet again, this time in the Semifinals. And in Game 1, Budućnost VOLI, the first placed team from the Regular Season, host Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, the reigning champions from the last season in a very exciting encounter.

Both teams are entering the series fully confident, as they have been grinding in the Quarterfinals, sweeping their own series 2:0 each, against Mega Superbet and Igokea m:tel, respectively.

Now they meet each other in what can be described as a clash of the titans and only one can advance to the Final.

So far, Budućnost VOLI have been confident when facing the red and white in Morača before in the regional competition, winning in 26 out of 32 games played so far between the two in Podgorica. 

However, as the two squads met twice before during this season, each of them celebrated once and each of them on the road.
