Game recap: Ilirija have prevailed over Cibona in the Game 2 of the Qualifiers, swept the series 2:0 and earned themselves the right to participate in the AdmiralBet ABA League in the 2024/25 season. This has been the first time in the entire AdmiralBet ABA League history, that a team heading to the Qualifiers from the NLB ABA League 2 has prevailed over an AdmiralBet ABA League squad and advanced to the upper division of the regional club basketball. It’s a well-deserved reward for the Ljubljana side, that has shined throughout the season in the NLB ABA League 2 and only slipped in the Finals, on their way to the trophy.

Cibona tried their best to fight their way back into the game, but just did not manage to make it anybody’s game all until the end anymore.
