Cedevita Olimpija celebrate new Slovenian National Championship trophy

Cedevita Olimpija are celebrating their 22nd Slovenian National Championship trophy, as they have prevailed over Krka 3:1 in the Final series, by winning the fourth game on home court in Stožice Arena with the final score of 72:65. It has been a game, which Krka have begun in a better fashion, taking a 5-point lead by halftime, but the Dragons fought back in the second half to turn the game completely upside-down and celebrate an important win.

For Cedevita Olimpija Brynton Lemar led the way in scoring with 16 points on his record, while Aleksej Nikolić added 14 points.

On their way towards the new trophy, Cedevita Olimpija first swept the quarterfinal series against GGD Šenčur 2:0 and afterwards against Terme Olimia Podčetrtek 2:0, while in the Finals, they have taken a 2:0 lead, only for Krka to bounce back in game 3 to cut the gap to 2:1. The Ljubljana squad, however, prevailed in the Game 4 and lifted the trophy once again.
