Javon Bess to Wear Igokea m:tel Jersey in the 2025/26 Season

Igokea m:tel has strengthened its roster for the upcoming season with the signing of American forward Javon Bess.

Standing at 198 cm, Bess brings a versatile skill set and valuable international experience to the team. A product of Saint Louis University, Bess made a significant impact during his collegiate career, averaging 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. 

Bess began his professional journey in Europe with Icelandic side Tindastóll, before moving on to the German Bundesliga, where he played for Göttingen and later Würzburg. Most recently, he competed in Turkey with Türk Telekom, showcasing his two-way ability in both domestic and international competition.

In the 2024/25 season, Bess posted solid numbers in the Turkish league, averaging 9.3 points and 3 rebounds per game. He was even more impactful in EuroCup action, where he contributed 9.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting an efficient 46% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc.
