Lovro Urbiha is coming to Novo mesto
Krka squad's frontcourt will be stronger with the addition of power forward Lovro Urbiha in the 2025/26 season.

“My arrival to Novo mesto and playing for Krka means a lot to me, as it is an indicator, that the club believes in me and my work. I will give all I can in order to help the team with my energy, desire and attitude. I would like to address the fans with the message, that they can expect lots of relentlessness, energy and devotion on the court from me and the entire remainder of the team,” Lovro Urbiha told, as he signed with Krka.
Lovro Urbiha played well last season in the ABA League 2, playing for Kansai Helios, for which he averaged 10.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
He started his basketball career at BC Cerknica, from where he moved to ECE Triglav Kranj. In the 2024/25 season he played for Kansai Helios of Domžale and now he is moving to Krka.
Urbiha also appeared in three European Championships for younger categories. In the years 2022 and 2023 he used to play for U20 Slovenia National Team and in the 2021 he won the silver medal with Slovenia U18 National Team in Turkey.

Lovro Urbiha prihaja v Novo mesto
Na visokih igralnih položajih bo članska ekipa Krke v sezoni 2025/26 močnejša za krilnega centra Lovra Urbiho.
"Prihod v Novo mesto in igranje za Krko mi pomeni veliko, saj kaže, da klub verjame vame in moje delo. Dal bom vse od sebe, da bom ekipi pomagal s svojo energijo, željo in pristopom. Navijačem sporočam, da lahko od mene in celotne ekipe pričakujejo veliko borbenosti, energije in predanosti na igrišču," pa dodaja Lovro Urbiha.
Lovro Urbiha (letnik 2003, 204 cm) je v minuli sezoni navduševal tako v slovenski Ligi OTP Banka kot tudi v Ligi ABA 2. V regionalnem tekmovanju je v povprečju dosegal 10,8 točke, 5,6 skoka in 1,9 podaje na tekmo.
Svojo športno pot je začel v KK Cerknica, nato pa nadaljeval v ECE Triglav Kranj. V sezoni 2024/25 je igral za Kansai Helios Domžale, v sezoni 2025/26 pa bo nosil dres Krke.
Urbiha je zaigral tudi na treh evropskih prvenstvih. V letih 2022 in 2023 je bil član slovenske reprezentance U20, leta 2021 pa je z reprezentanco U18 osvojil srebrno medaljo na evropskem prvenstvu v Turčiji.
