Dubai Basketball ink a 2-year deal with Mouhammadou Jaiteh
The French center and the Club reached a two-year agreement.

Mam Jaiteh will play for Dubai Basketball for the next two seasons after reaching an agreement with the club. The French center played the last two seasons with AS Monaco (2023–25) and the two before that with Italian team Virtus Bologna (2021–23). He is the fifth new signing after Musa, Avramovic, Wright, and Kamenjaš.
Jaiteh has played in the EuroLeague for three seasons in a row (2022–25), appearing in 89 games. Coach Jurica Golemac will have a center with experience at the highest level, including the EuroLeague Final Four.
Last season with AS Monaco, he averaged 7.5 points and 4 rebounds in less than 15 minutes per game. His best performance in the EuroLeague came against FC Barcelona, where he was outstanding with 20 points without missing a shot and a performance index rating (PIR) of 27, his best so far.
Before playing in the EuroLeague, Jaiteh had a great season in the EuroCup in 2021–22. He won the competition and was named MVP while playing for Virtus Bologna. He averaged 12.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and a PIR of 17.8 in 21 games.
Jaiteh also has experience in several other leagues. He played for Gaziantep in Turkey (2020–21), Avtodor Saratov in Russia (2019–20), Fiat Turin in Italy (2018–19), and French teams like Limoges, Strasbourg, and Nanterre, among others.
During his career, Jaiteh has won several trophies. He comes to Dubai as a champion of the French League with AS Monaco, he also won the EuroCup and Italian Supercup with Virtus Bologna, and the EuroChallenge and French Cup with Nanterre. He also won a bronze medal with the French national team at the 2015 European Championship.
