Budućnost VOLI has added experience and size to its frontcourt with the signing of French center Jerry Boutsiele. The 32-year-old joins the Podgorica-based club after spending the second half of the 2024/25 season with Dubai Basketball in the ABA League.
During his time with Dubai Basketball, Boutsiele averaged 10.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, playing a key role in the team’s strong debut season in the regional competition. Known for his physical presence in the paint and reliable finishing around the rim, he also made an impact defensively, helping solidify Dubai’s interior game.
Boutsiele brings a wealth of international experience, having previously played for clubs such as Limoges, Cholet, and Monaco, where he also featured in the EuroLeague. He later moved to Turkey, suiting up for Bahçeşehir and Pınar Karşıyaka before his recent stint in Dubai.
At 2.07 meters, Boutsiele is regarded as a strong rebounder and an efficient post scorer. His combination of size, strength, and agility makes him a valuable addition for Budućnost VOLI, particularly in a system where the center plays a clear, finishing role.
He reunites in Podgorica with fellow Frenchman Axel Bouteille, his former teammate from Bahçeşehir.
