Victor Bailey Jr. reinforced Krka
The 26-year old American shooting guard Victor Bailey Jr. has become the new member of Krka.

“I am delighted about this opportunity and am looking forward to the work and successful season,” Victor Bailey Jr. told as he agreed on cooperation with the Novo mesto side.
Bailey Jr. has been born in Dallas and continued his sporting path in the three different American universities: Oregon, Tennessee and George Mason. In the elite NCAA division he appeared in 157 games between 2017 and 2023, during which he achived 1178 points, 300 rebounds and 163 assists.
In the summer of 2023 he moved toEurope. First he played for the Leuven Bears in Belgium (2023/24), after which he played in Germany for two seasons: first for the Karlsruhe Lions (2023/24) and afterwards Niners Chemnitz (2024/25).
In his first seasonnin Germany he won the title in the Pro A League with Karlsruhe Lions and has crowned himself with the MVP of the Finals title. In the 2024/25 season he achieved the 6th place in the regular season in the Bundesliga with Niners Chemnitz, as he become the top scorer of his squad with an average of 15.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. With the German squad he also played in the Basketball Champions League.

Novi član Košarkarskega kluba Krka je postal 26-letni ameriški branilec strelec Victor Bailey Jr.
"Navdušen sem nad to priložnostjo in se že veselim dela ter uspešne sezone," pa je ob podpisu pogodbe dejal Victor Bailey Jr.
Bailey Jr. je bil rojen v Dallasu, svojo pot pa je nadaljeval na treh različnih ameriških univerzah: Oregon, Tennessee in George Mason. V elitni študentski ligi NCAA je v petih sezonah (2017–2023) odigral 157 tekem, na katerih je dosegel 1178 točk, zbral 300 skokov in 163 asistenc.
Poleti 2023 se je preselil v Evropo. Najprej je igral za Leuven Bears v Belgiji (2023/2024), nato pa dve sezoni nastopal v Nemčiji: najprej za Karlsruhe Lions (2023/2024), nato za Niners Chemnitz (2024/2025).
V svoji prvi sezoni v Nemčiji je z Karlsruhe Lions osvojil naslov prvaka Lige Pro A, sam pa je bil imenovan za najkoristnejšega igralca (MVP) finalne serije. V sezoni 2024/2025 je z Niners Chemnitz dosegel 6. mesto po rednem delu v nemški Bundesligi, kjer je bil prvi strelec ekipe s povprečjem 15,2 točke, 2,6 skoka in 1,9 asistence na tekmo. Z nemškim moštvom je nastopal tudi v Fibini Ligi prvakov (BCL).
