Bosna BH Telecom pen deal with Michael Young Jr

American power forward Michael Young Jr, standing at 206 cm, is joining Sarajevo from Galatasaray, where he played last season in both the Turkish League and the Basketball Champions League.

Born in 1994 in the United States, Michael built an impressive NCAA career at the University of Pittsburgh, averaging 19.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game in his final college season.

He continued his basketball development in the NBA G League, playing for the Delaware Blue Coats (the affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers) and the Northern Arizona Suns (the affiliate of the Phoenix Suns).

What followed were seasons of rich international experience, as he played in France, Israel, China, Japan, Poland, Puerto Rico, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and Turkey.

During his most recent season with Galatasaray, he averaged 20 minutes per game in the Basketball Champions League, recording 7.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. His experience and energy will be a valuable asset in the paint, bringing toughness and stability to the frontcourt.

Američki krilni centar Michael Young Jr, visok 206 cm, u Sarajevo stiže iz redova turskog Galatasaraya, gdje je prošle sezone nastupao u turskom prvenstvu i Basketball Champions League.

Rođen 1994. godine u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, Michael je izgradio sjajnu NCAA karijeru na Univerzitetu Pittsburgh, gdje je u svojoj posljednjoj sezoni bilježio prosječno 19,6 poena, 6,8 skokova i 2,7 asistencija po utakmici.

Košarkaški razvoj nastavio je nastupajući za Delaware Blue Coats u NBA G-ligi, razvojnu ekipu Philadelphia 76ersa te za Northern Arizona Suns, razvojni tim Phoenix Sunsa.
