Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Adds Former NBA Guard Devonte' Graham to Roster

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet has officially bolstered its backcourt ahead of the 2025–26 season by signing American guard Devonte' Graham.

The 29-year-old combo guard arrives in Belgrade with significant experience at the highest levels of basketball, having spent the past several years competing in the NBA and NBA G League. Graham most recently played for the South Bay Lakers, the G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers, following stints with the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, and San Antonio Spurs.

A native of North Carolina, Graham played collegiate basketball at the University of Kansas from 2014 to 2018, where he was part of one of the premier programs in the NCAA. Known for his quickness, court vision, and deep shooting range, the 1.85-meter guard is capable of playing both point guard and shooting guard roles, offering Crvena zvezda additional versatility in its backcourt rotation.

This move marks Graham’s first professional venture outside the United States. His signing is seen as a major addition for the Serbian powerhouse as they look to compete on multiple fronts in the upcoming season.

Devonte Grejem je rođen 22.02.1995. godine u Severnoj Karolini, a koledž godine proveo je na jednom od najvećih programa u SAD igrajući za Kanzas Džejhokse od 2014-2018. godine.

Visok je 185 centimetara, izvanrednog šuta i brzine, odličnog pregleda igre što mu daje mogućnost da igra kao „kombo“ bek na dve pozicije – organizatora igre i beka šutera.

Grejemu će Zvezda biti prvi tim van Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, gde je od 2018. igrao u NBA i Razvojnoj ligi. Prošlu sezonu proveo je u razvojnom timu Lejkersa, nakon što je prethodno godinama igrao za Šarlot Hornetse i Nju Orleans, uz sezonu 2023/24 provedenu u San Antoniju. Tokom tog perioda upamćene su i neke njegove partije kojima je pokazao kakvim kvalitetom raspolaže, beležeći često 30 i više postignutih poena.
