U-BT Cluj-Napoca Open Preseason Training at BT Arena
U-BT Cluj-Napoca gathered in BT Arena to begin preparations for the 2025/26 season, with head coach Mihai Silvășan leading the first session and setting the tone for the weeks ahead.

U-BT Cluj-Napoca officially started their preparations for the 2025/26 season on Monday, August 18, with the team gathering at BT Arena. The full squad was present with the exception of Iverson Molinar and Mitchell Creek, who are expected to arrive later this week.
Head coach Mihai Silvășan, entering his tenth season in charge of the club, opened the meeting with a welcome message to the players before outlining the team’s objectives for the months ahead. “Success depends on your focus and effort,” Silvășan told his squad ahead of the first training session.
The preseason also marks the integration of new staff members. Assistant coach Alexander Geddes and team doctor Dr. Daniel Albu, from Regina Maria, were introduced as part of the expanded coaching and medical team. Physical conditioning work was conducted by fitness coach Andrei Bălan, assisted by Adrian Resteman and Csaba Mott.
Following the initial testing phase, U-BT Cluj-Napoca will continue training in the city before turning to a series of friendly games scheduled for September:
