Zadar Signs American Forward Jayden Martinez

KK Zadar has secured a new addition to their lineup with the signing of American forward Jayden Luis Martinez. The 25-year-old, standing at 201 cm, will bring versatility and international experience to the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Born in Cibolo, Texas in 2000, Martinez developed his game in the NCAA, first with the University of New Hampshire Wildcats and later at North Texas. Following his collegiate career, he began his professional journey overseas, making stops in Puerto Rico with Cangrejeros de Santurce, Sweden with Köping Stars, and most recently in Poland, where he played for Spojnia Stargard in the FIBA Europe Cup. During his time in Poland, he averaged 7.8 points and 5 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to contribute on both ends of the floor.

This summer, Martinez returned to Puerto Rico for another stint with Cangrejeros, but will now continue his career in Europe by joining Zadar.

Martinez je rođen 2000. godine u Cibolu (SAD). Sveučilišnu košarku igrao je u New Hampshire Wildcatsima i na Sveučilištu North Texas, nakon čega igra u Portoriku (Cangrejeros), Švedskoj (Köping Stars) te u poljskoj Spojnia Stargard, članu FIBA Europe Cupa, za koju je u prosjeku postizao 7,8 poena uz 5 skokova.

Od svibnja ponovno nastupa u Portoriku za Cangrejeros, a za novu europsku sezonu dolazi u Zadar.
