PRESEASON: Victories for Zadar and Split
In their Saturday’s preseason games, Zadar have been stronger than Dubrava in Zadar, while Split defeated Ilirija on the road in Tivoli Sports Hall in Ljubljana. Borac Mozzart suffered defeat by EWE Baskets Oldenburg, while Igokea m:tel have been defeated by Bahcesehir.

Borac Mozzart have faced EWE Baskets Oldenburg in Zlatobor and in a game, where the German side have been the better one throughout the majority of the playing time and won every single quarter, respectively, they Oldenburg squad emerged victorious in the end with the final score of 81:67. For Borac, Nikola Manojlović led the way in scoring with 14 points on his record, while Stefan Fundić added 12.
Igokea m:tel have faced Bahcesehir and in a high-scoring contest it has been the Turkish squad that has taken away the win with the final score of 103:93. For Igokea m:tel Breein Tyree was atop of the list of scorers with 20 points scored, while JeQuan Lewis added 13.
In Ljubljana, Ilirija have hosted Split in the clash of two AdmiralBet ABA League squads, and thanks to a breathtaking second quarter performance (15:34), Split were the ones that got away with a convincing win with the final score of 79:102.
Zadar have entered the Final of the Tomislav Knežević Memorial Tournament, as they have prevailed over Dubrava in the Semifinals in a game, where Danijel Jusup’s squad has been in command of the court all game long and has led by 13 points already by halftime. It has been Lovro Mazalin, that led the way in scoring for Zadar with 23 points achieved, while Toni Torbarina added 22 points.
