FIBA EuroBasket: First win for Slovenia
Slovenia achieved their first EuroBasket 2025 win, as they prevailed over Belgium in Group D in Katowice. On the other hand, BiH suffered a defeat against Ital in Group C.

In Group C of the EuroBasket 2025 Group Stage, Bosnia and Herzegovina faced Italy and suffered their second defeat of the tournament in the end with the final score of 79:96 in a game, where Italy dominated the court for the majority of the playing time, thanks especially to Simone Fontecchio, who scored no less than 39 points this time. For BiH, Jusuf Nurkić scored 21 points, while John Roberson added 13.
Slovenia have achieved their first win of the EuroBasket 2025 tournament, as they have downed Belgium in the Round 3 of the Group Stage in Katowice in a game, where they have been in command all game long. Slovenia led by 12 points already by halftime and afterwards managed to calmly cruise towards the win in the end with the final score of 86:69. For Slovenia, it has been Luka Dončić, who led the way in scoring with 26 points achieved, while Klemen Prepelič added 12 points.
