Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EuroBasket 2025 run ended in the Round of 16 after an 80-72 defeat to Poland in Riga. Despite a strong start that saw them lead by as many as 13 points, Bosnia and Herzegovina could not hold off Poland’s second-half surge. Jusuf Nurkić led the way with 20 points, while John Roberson added 19 before leaving the game late due to injury. Advancing from the group stage for the first time since 1993, Bosnia and Herzegovina fell short of reaching the quarterfinals.

Slovenia, on the other hand, moved on to the next round after an 84-77 win over Italy. Luka Dončić delivered another standout performance with 42 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals, carrying Slovenia through despite Italy cutting a 19-point lead down to just one late in the game. Slovenia will now face Germany in the quarterfinals as they continue their push for a deep tournament run.
