Bine Prepelič will wear Ilirija’s jersey in the new season
Born in 2001 and standing 200 cm tall, Bine Prepelič began his basketball career in his hometown of Slovenska Bistrica. In 2019, he signed his first professional contract with Domžale’s Helios Suns, and during that same season he already played for Ilirija as a loaned player.

After the 2022 season, he moved to Belgium to join Spirou, and last year he was a member of Cedevita Olimpija.
Bine has extensive national team experience. He has already collected 15 appearances for the senior national team (debuted in 2022 against Israel, also played at the 2023 World Cup, where he appeared in 8 games). With the U20 team, he became champion of the 2021 FIBA European Challenger, with the U18 team he won bronze at EuroBasket 2019, and the year before he took silver with the U18 team in Division B of EuroBasket 2018.

Bine Prepelič bo v novi sezoni nosil dres Ilirije
Leta 2001 rojeni in 200 cm visoki Bine Prepelič je svojo košarkarsko pot začel v domači Slovenski Bistrici. Leta 2019 je podpisal prvo profesionalno pogodbo z domžalskim Helios Suns, v sezoni 2019 pa je bil kot posojen igralec že član Ilirije.
Po sezoni 2022 se je preselil v Belgijo k Spirouju, lansko leto pa je bil član Cedevite Olimpije.
Bine ima bogate reprezentančne izkušnje. Za člansko reprezentanco je zbral že 15 nastopov (debitiral 2022 proti Izraelu, igral tudi na SP 2023, kjer je nastopil na 8 tekmah), s selekcijo U20 je postal prvak FIBA European Challengerja 2021, z reprezentanco U18 je osvojil bron na EuroBasketu 2019, leto prej pa je bil z U18 reprezentanco srebrn v drugi diviziji EuroBasketa 2018.
