2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League Teams: BC Vienna - Entering the ABA Stage

BC Vienna are preparing for a historic moment - their first ever season in the AdmiralBet ABA League. The Austrian powerhouse is determined to present themselves in the best possible way, and to mark the occasion, the club has built an almost entirely new roster led by a new head coach.

A New Era with Mike Coffin

The team will be guided by Mike Coffin, a coach with a long and successful history in Austrian basketball. While Coffin has faced many challenges before, this will undoubtedly be his biggest yet - leading Vienna into one of Europe’s toughest basketball competitions, where they will face some of the continent’s most powerful clubs.

Strong Backcourt Additions

Vienna reshaped their backcourt with the arrival of Souley Boum and Tekele Cotton, an American duo set to bring scoring punch and creativity at the PG positions. At shooting guard, the club has signed proven ABA names - Luka Ašćerić (ex-Vojvodina mts and Mega Superbet), Gregor Glas (ex-Cedevita Olimpija, Mornar-Barsko zlato, and Partizan Mozzart Bet), as well as Lithuanian international Simas Jarumbauskas, giving the team a versatile mix of shooters and drivers.

Wings and Forwards

At small forward, Vienna brought in Bulgarian international Borislav Mladenov, while also adding Lovre Runjić (ex-Split and Mornar-Barsko zlato) and Sammy Hunter, further strengthening their rotation.

Big Men and Frontcourt Depth

The paint will be anchored by experienced big man Rašid Mahalbašić, who will be the leader of the frontcourt. Supporting him are Leon Bulić, Marko Goranović, and Selvin Jukic, adding size and physicality to the lineup.

Youth Prospects

In addition to their senior signings, Vienna have added several youngsters to the first team — Lenny Benczak, Aron Stazić, Lukas Cvetkova, and Kerem Yilmazer — showing that the club also wants to build for the future.
