In the opening round of the ABA League 2 season, Vojvodina mts have celebrated a convincing home court win over newcomers Primorje 1945.
The visiting side were the ones that opened the game in a more successful fashion, leading by 3 points after the opening quarter (18:21). However, the hosts bounced back in the second quarter, which they won by 12 points (33:21) and they were up by 9 points at the big break. The dominant performance of the red and white continued in the third quarter, in which they took a 20-point lead for the first time in the 28th minute of the game (75:55) and at this point it has been clear that the win would stay in Novi Sad.
Vojvodina mts will therefore continue the season in the upper half of the standings, while Primorje 1945 continue to chase their first win of the season in the rounds that are to follow.
