EC: U-BT Cluj-Napoca Defeated in Wroclaw After a Thriller

U-BT Cluj-Napoca continue their BKT EuroCup season with a win and two defeats on their record, as they suffered a road defeat in Poland against Slask Wroclaw.

It has been a game, where the black and white Cluj-Napoca squad has dominated the court in first half, leaving for the big break with a 12-point advantage, but did not manage to stick to their lead until the end of the game and the hosts performed a major comeback, that earned them a narrow 94:93 win in the end.

For the Romanian side, Daron Russell had 21 points and Trey Woodbury 20.

A day before, Cedevita Olimpija prevailed over Aris of Thessaloniki, while Budućnost VOLI suffered a defeat against Turk Telekom Ankara.
