It was a night to remember in Nikšić, as Sutjeska Elektroprivreda thrilled their home crowd with a spectacular comeback victory over MZT Skopje Aerodrom in Round 2 of the 2025/26 ABA League 2 regular season.
The home team entered the final 10 minutes trailing by 6 points, but that’s when everything changed. Sutjeska caught fire offensively, dropping 31 points in the last period and completely turning the game around to seal a memorable home win. The energy from the crowd pushed them to play with full intensity, turning defense into fast-break opportunities and clutch baskets down the stretch.
The hero of the night was Kristopher Martin, who came alive in the decisive moments - scoring 11 of his 19 points in the 4th quarter and hitting key shots when it mattered most. Alongside him, Filip Barović was a dominant presence inside, finishing with 15 points and a superb index rating of 30, confirming his importance on both ends of the floor.
For MZT Skopje Aerodrom, Mack Smith-Mcewen led the way with 20 points, but the visitors could not stop Sutjeska’s late offensive surge.
With this result, Sutjeska Elektroprivreda improve their season record to 2-0, continuing their strong start to the 2025/26 ABA League 2 season. Meanwhile, MZT Skopje Aerodrom fall to 1-1, as they look to bounce back in the next round.
