Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Stays Hot, Dubai Basketball Falls Short in EuroLeague Round 6

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet continued their strong EuroLeague run with another convincing home win, while Dubai Basketball couldn’t hold off a late surge in France against LDLC ASVEL.

It was a mixed EuroLeague night for AdmiralBet ABA League representatives, as Crvena zvezda Meridianbet continued their fine form while Dubai Basketball narrowly missed out on the road.

In Belgrade, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet kept their winning streak alive with an impressive 90-72 victory over Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, marking their fourth consecutive EuroLeague triumph. The home team dictated the tempo from the opening tip, and despite a brief first-half setback, took control in the third quarter with a dominant 17-2 run that broke the game open.
Codi Miller-McIntyre led the way with 20 points, Jordan Nwora added 19 and seven rebounds, while Chima Moneke and Nikola Kalinić contributed 12 points apiece. For Baskonia, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot stood out with 24 points, and Hamidou Diallo chipped in with 12.

LDLC ASVEL rallied to an 83-79 home win over Dubai Basketball in Villeurbanne. The visitors looked poised for victory after leading by nine points entering the fourth quarter, but ASVEL mounted a late comeback, outscoring Dubai 26-11 in the final period to seal the result.
Nando De Colo was the key man for the French side, finishing with 24 points and several decisive baskets in crunch time, while Glynn Watson added 21 points and five assists. Dubai’s Dwayne Bacon posted 22 points, Mfiondu Kabengele had 20, and Filip Petrušev recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists.
