In the opening game of the ABA League 2 week, Vojvodina mts have prevailed over Sloboda Energoinvest at home in their Spens Sports Hall in Novi Sad.

It has been a game, where Sloboda Energoinvest have demonstrated a brave performance in the opening half, leading by 4 points after the opening quarter and by 7 at the big break (40:47). However, Vojvodina mts bounced back in the third quarter (30:22), when they have completely turned the flow of the game upside-down and were ahead by a point after 30 minutes of play.

In the remainder of the game, Vojvodina mts have managed to stick to their narrow lead and even though Sani Čampara had the chance to take the two squads into overtime with a half-court buzzer-beating attempt, the hosts prevailed in the end with the score of 87:84.

This win puts Vojvodina mts ahead of Sloboda Energoinvest in the upper half of the standings with a 2:1 record, while the Tuzla squad are on a 1:2 record now after 3 rounds
