Game Recap: Bosna BH Telecom are still on fire. The Sarajevo side extended their impressive run by scoring their fourth consecutive victory, this time defeating Perspektiva Ilirija on the road in Ljubljana – 83:79. With this win, Bosna BH Telecom have now improved their season record to 4-3, placing themselves firmly inside the top four teams in Group B.
On the other side, Perspektiva Ilirija suffered their second defeat in a row, falling to 2-5 in what has been an up-and-down debut season in the regional competition.
Key Moments: Bosna BH Telecom took control early and held the lead for the entire game, displaying discipline and confidence on both ends of the court. Their advantage grew significantly during the second half, where they managed to go up by as many as 18 points and looked well on their way to a routine road win.
But the finish was anything but routine.
In the final two minutes, Perspektiva Ilirija ignited a furious late run, reducing a seemingly secure 79:68 deficit all the way to 79:77, putting massive pressure on the visitors. Suddenly, the game was wide open.
However, Bosna BH Telecom showed composure when it mattered most. In the last 30 seconds, they made every one of their free throws, steadying their nerves and successfully closing the match to avoid what would have been a painful collapse.
Man of the Match: Jarrod West II delivered a complete and decisive performance - 21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists.
West was the engine of Bosna BH Telecom’s offense throughout the game, setting the tone early and keeping the team in control. Importantly, he was also one of the players who stepped up at the free-throw line during the tense final seconds, helping secure the victory when the pressure peaked.
Can’t Trick the Stats: Bosna BH Telecom were simply the better team for most of the game - and the numbers back it up. Their energy, desire, and winning mentality were especially visible in one key category: 12 offensive rebounds.
