Ognjen Jaramaz Joins Cedevita Olimpija
Serbian national team member, 30-year-old Ognjen Jaramaz, has joined Cedevita Olimpija’s senior team. After wearing the jersey of Perspektiva Ilirija in the 2025/26 season, Jaramaz brings experience from playing at the highest level in the AdmiralBet ABALeague, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the BKT EuroCup with him to Stožice.

On the perimeter positions, Cedevita Olimpija’s senior lineup was strengthened ahead of the continuation of the 2025/26 competitive season by the 30-year-old, 192-centimeter-tall Ognjen Jaramaz, who joins the Dragon family after wearing the jersey of Ljubljana’s Perspektiva Ilirija this season. In his career, Jaramaz has spent four seasons in the elite EuroLeague, during which he wore the jerseys of Bayern, Partizan, and Baskonia, and he also played two seasons in the EuroCup with Partizan. In this cycle of World Cup Qualifiers, he will also be part of the Serbian national team, which is facing matchups against Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“I am very pleased to be part of Cedevita Olimpija. I can’t wait to join the rest of the guys and the entire team in training. The team has been playing very well so far this season. I believe I will fit in quickly and that we will continue in the same rhythm. I’m looking forward to everything that lies ahead,” said Ognjen Jaramaz upon signing the contract with Cedevita Olimpija.
Ognjen Jaramaz began his professional career with Mega from Belgrade, for which he also played in the ABA League in the 2014/15 season, and he gained his first international experience in the 2018/19 season in Spain, where he wore the jersey of San Pablo Burgos. That same season, he returned to Serbia, where he put on the Partizan jersey. He remained with the Black-and-Whites until 2021, when he moved to Bayern Basketball, and in the 2023/24 season he returned to Partizan. He spent the 2024/25 season with Baskonia, and then in the 2025/26 season he played for Ilirija, which he joined at the end of October. In the EuroLeague, Jaramaz has played a total of 105 games, and so far 26 in the EuroCup. Jaramaz can also boast three Serbian Cup titles and the 2019 ABA League Supercup title. In 2017, he was also selected in the NBA Draft by the New York Knicks as the 58th overall pick.
He wore the jersey of the Serbian senior national team at EuroBasket 2022, as well as in the 2019 World Cup Qualifiers, EuroBasket 2022 and 2025 Qualifiers, and the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers. With the Serbian U20 national team, he won two medals – gold in 2015 in Italy, and a year earlier bronze in Greece.
In the 2025/26 season, he appeared in four games of the AdmiralBet ABA League for Ilirija – he spent an average of 29.0 minutes on the court, during which he averaged 11.0 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game.

Ognjen Jaramaz je novi član Cedevita Olimpije
Članski ekipi Cedevite Olimpije se je pridružil srbski reprezentant, 30-letni Ognjen Jaramaz. Slednji je v sezoni 2025/26 nosil dres Perspektive Ilirije, Jaramaz pa s seboj v Stožice prinaša izkušnje z igranjem na najvišjem nivoju v AdmiralBet Ligi ABA, Evroligi in Evropskem pokalu.
Na zunanjih igralnih položajih je člansko zasedbo Cedevite Olimpije pred nadaljevanjem tekmovalne sezone 2025/26 okrepil 30-letni in 192 centimetrov visoki Ognjen Jaramaz, ki v Zmajevo družino prihaja po tem, ko je v tej sezoni nosil dres ljubljanske Perspektive Ilirije. Jaramaz je v svoji karieri v elitni Evroligi preživel štiri sezone, v katerih je nosil dres Bayerna, Partizana in Baskonie, dve sezoni pa je s Partizanom odigral tudi v Evropskem pokalu. V tem ciklu kvalifikacij za svetovno prvenstvo bo tudi del srbske reprezentance, ki jo čakata dvoboja proti Švici in Bosni in Hercegovini. Z ljubljanskim klubom je Jaramaz podpisal pogodbo do konca sezone 2026/27 z možnostjo prekinitve po sezoni 2025/26.
"Zelo zadovoljen sem, da sem del Cedevite Olimpije. Komaj čakam, da se preostalim fantom in celotni ekipi pridružim na treningih. Moštvo v dosedanjem delu sezone igra zelo dobro. Verjamem, da se bom hitro vklopil in da bomo nadaljevali v enakem ritmu. Veselim se vsega, kar sledi," je ob podpisu pogodbe s Cedevito Olimpijo povedal Ognjen Jaramaz.
Svojo profesionalno pot je Ognjen Jaramaz začel v beograjski Megi, za katero je v sezoni 2014/15 tudi zaigral v Ligi ABA, prve izkušnje na mednarodnem odru pa pridobil v sezoni 2018/19 v Španiji, kjer je nosil dres ekipe San Pablo Burgos. Še isto sezono je sledila vrnitev v Srbijo, kjer je oblekel dres Partizana. Med Črno-belimi je ostal do leta 2021, ko se je preselil v Bayern Basketball, v sezoni 2023/24 pa se je vrnil v Partizan. Sezono 2024/25 je preživel v Baskonii, nato pa je v sezoni 2025/26 zaigral za Ilirijo, ki se ji je pridružil konec oktobra. V Evroligi je Jaramaz skupno odigral 105 tekem, v EuroCupu pa zaenkrat 26.
Jaramaz se lahko pohvali tudi s tremi naslovi srbskega pokalnega prvaka in naslovom zmagovalca Superpokala Lige ABA iz leta 2019. Leta 2017 je bil s strani New York Knicks kot 58. izbor izbran tudi na naboru Lige NBA.
Dres srbske članske reprezentance je nosil na EuroBasketu 2022, v kvalifikacijah za svetovno prvenstvo 2019, EuroBasket 2022 in 2025 ter kvalifikacijah za svetovno prvenstvo 2023. S srbsko reprezentanco do 20 let je osvojil dve medalji - leta 2015 zlato v Italiji, leto poprej pa bronasto v Grčiji.
V sezoni 2025/26 je za Ilirijo zaigral na štirih tekmah AdmiralBet Lige ABA - v povprečju je na parketu preživel 29,0 minut, v tem obdobju pa dosegal 11,0 točk, 5,5 asistenc in 3,0 skoke na tekmo.
